First meeting - *competitive programming discussion*
Second meeting three months later - by chance in a fucking elevator of my student hall, of all places.
1st hour of third meeting - *political discussion* - of course there's a connection here, but I already have people to talk about it.
2nd hour - *cultural discussion* - OK, definitely a connection.
3rd hour - I can't believe I overlooked at first , it's a fucking onion layers situation and, for once, each consecutive layer is more exciting to discuss than the previous, even without probing.

5th hour - *all cards are on the table, and happy fandom comparison ensues*
